Privacy Policy

This policy applies to govn.vn, the GOVN app and related services. Alka Vietnam Trading and Services Joint Stock Company is the controller where GOVN determines the purposes and means of processing.

Partners may independently control data they receive to provide services. Their own policies apply; GOVN requires legal compliance and limits disclosure to necessary data.

• Account: name, email, phone, date of birth, gender, nationality and avatar; identity or KYC documents only when required.
• Transactions and journeys: searches, itineraries, travelers, bookings, vouchers, invoices and support; payment data is limited to information returned by payment providers.
• Content: posts, media, reviews, comments, reports, messages and privacy choices.
• Device and usage: IP, browser, device, time, security logs, cookies, interactions and location with permission.
• Partners and contact: legal, representative, licensing, payout, verification, form and anti-spam data.

Data may come from you, your device and browser, GOVN activity, partners, sign-in, payment, mapping, analytics or fraud-prevention providers, lawful public sources and authorities. If you provide another person's data, you confirm that you have authority and have given required notice.

GOVN processes data to manage accounts; support search, itinerary planning and personalization; deliver bookings and payments; operate the community; verify users; provide support; prevent fraud; analyze and improve services; communicate according to your choices; protect rights and comply with law.

Legal bases may include consent, contract or pre-contract requests, legal obligations, vital interests, authorized public functions or other lawful grounds. Withdrawal of consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.

GOVN may use journeys, preferences, searches and interactions to produce suggestions. Do not enter secrets, sensitive data or another person's data unless necessary.

GOVN does not rely solely on automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects unless permitted by law. Where applicable, GOVN provides information and a way to request human review.

Necessary cookies support sign-in, security, preferences and operation. Analytics, personalization or advertising cookies are used only according to your choices and applicable rules. You can manage them through GOVN or your browser; disabling necessary cookies may prevent features from working.

• Travel partners for quotes, confirmations and requested services.
• Service providers acting on instructions, including infrastructure, hosting, communications, maps, analytics, support, identity, security and payments.
• Advisers, auditors, insurers or corporate transaction participants under confidentiality duties.
• Authorities or others where lawfully required, to protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or resolve disputes.

GOVN does not sell personal data or share it for third-party direct advertising without a lawful basis or your required choice.

Some providers may process or store data outside Vietnam. Before transfer, GOVN applies required assessments, contracts, safeguards and authority procedures under Vietnamese law. Details may be provided in response to a valid rights request.

GOVN retains data only as long as needed for disclosed purposes and legal duties, considering account and contract periods, warranties, complaints, tax, fraud prevention, limitation periods and authority requirements.

When no basis remains, data is securely deleted, destroyed, anonymized or restricted. Backups rotate on technical schedules.

GOVN uses role-based access, encryption in transit, logging, backups, vulnerability management, internal access limits, provider controls and risk-based incident response. No system is completely secure; use a unique password, protect OTPs and watch for impersonation.

For reportable incidents, GOVN assesses the event, limits harm and notifies authorities and affected people within legal deadlines.

Subject to law, you may be informed; consent or refuse; access, review and correct data; withdraw consent; request deletion or restriction; object; request data; complain, bring claims, seek compensation and protect yourself.

Submit requests through the Account deletion page, Contact page or admin@govn.vn. GOVN may verify identity, clarify scope and lawfully refuse or limit a request with an explanation where permitted.

GOVN applies age verification and parent or guardian consent where required and prioritizes children's best interests. GOVN does not knowingly use children's data for unlawful behavioral advertising. Guardians may request review, correction or other handling.

Transactional and security notices are necessary to provide services. Promotions are sent under a lawful basis and your choices, and can be unsubscribed from in messages or settings. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential notices.

GOVN may update this policy as services or laws change. Material changes to purposes, data types or rights will be appropriately notified, and consent renewed where required. The current version always states its effective date.
